It's hard to believe this is the last release! Before I go into the insights into the Y I want to say thank you to all the amazing folks who made this one so much fun! We have loved doing this SAL with all of you and seeing everyone's work, those who personalized and those who stuck to the pattern. We know quite a few of you still have a ways to go and we hope you'll keep posting and sharing your progress! This was our first SAL and we appreciate everyone's patience and suggestions while we were getting it up and running!
We are ending on Phantom of the Opera. I will admit this one is my favorite, just because of the monkey. Of course we had to have the mask and the rose, but the little song with the wind up monkey has always stuck with me since I first saw Phantom. It was fun to draw it as well. I pulled up the picture of it and Cyn told me right away there was no way I could get it small enough with the amount of detail I wanted, but here it is.
I'm sure the lyrics are no surprise, I saw a couple guesses of them on the Facebook page already. The color was likewise pretty simple to pick.
It is bittersweet writing up this last blog post. I hope y'all will join us for future SALs!
